Join us as we welcome Kevin Seconds to Orillia in support of the Orillia Youth Centre. Best known for his work in 7Seconds, the legendary American hardcore punk rock band he has led for over three decades, Kevin Seconds has spent the 20 years morphing into a brilliant lo-fi home-recordist singer-songwriter and has the catalogue to show!
We are so excited to be welcoming back to Orillia, Lenny Lashley. Lenny will once again be accompanied by Timmay Kehoe. Lenny recently released his latest album 'Pray for Death" and you would do well to pick this album up! Lenny's musical ouput has been trememdous. From his band Darkbuster, time in the Street Dogs, Lenny Lashley and the Piss Poor Boys, to Lenny Lashley's Gang of One, "he is one of Boston’s most beloved punk rockers and deeply moving lyricists. The fact is Lenny’s always had the uncanny ability to produce songs that just speak to his listeners deepest regrets and misfortunes. He’s the friend that’s always there telling us he knows how it is and being sincere through and through".
Joining this bill is Nixon Boyd, co-founder of Hollerado, who is currently completing a much anticipated solo record. Nixon draws on aspects of folk, classical, and pop to create an engaging, lyric-driven sound. The composition, writing, guitar playing and ear for hooks that he brought to Hollerado is present in his solo work, but with a completely re-invented sound and delivery that is uniquely his own.
